Thoughts On Tour Edge

I was thinking of rounding out my bag with a putter and some woods from Tour Edge. I was reading another post about most underrated companies and quite a few of you have Tour Edge ranked highly. Price wise they are definitely on the low end. Does anybody have anything from Tour Edge that they would recommend?

I have a driver and an iron set of theirs I bought used off eBay. Love 'em. Not the OEM equipment I fantasize about but sure beats the department store stuff I sometimes can't resist. My wife's full set is theirs from a local pro shop. Well-made and still looks like new. Good stuff I say.

Cool. I was definitely considering at least a putter and possibly more. I like the look of their putters. They remind me of the Ping's.

Tour Edge makes good quality products. You'd be hard-pressed to find clubs from any OEM made better. They're priced right too (until you get into the Tour Edge Exotics).

Yeah, the Exotics are certainly not economical, but I sprang for the new CB 3 & 5 woods with an Aldila Proto shaft.... those are monsters... I highly recommend them, if you've the money to burn!

Did you really get the 20 extra yards they promise? I use TE hybrids, they make great stuff, but their promises of extra yardage is getting ridiculous. They claimed the original Exotics 3 wood was 20 yards longer than anything, now say the mew one is 20 yards longer than that. If I can get a 3 wood that's 40 yards longer than what I have now, I wouldn't need a driver. Having said that, I do hear the Exotics 3 wood is as long as they come, but 40 yards?

I agree I think they are underrated, however I think they put all their new technology in the exotic line which are EXPENSIVE, even slightly more than Calloway, TM and Ping in most clubs.

I am thinking of bringing in the Tour Edge Products... I hear nothing but good things from them.
