Question Taylor Made R7 T-Step Stiff Flex Steel Shafts

I have recently purchased a set of Taylor Made R7 XD Irons. they have the t-step stiff. what trajectory are these shafts designed for ?has anyone hit these shafts in comparison to other shafts on the R7 XDs.. I.e. The Dynamic Gold or any others. Was just wondering how they compare, and whether I should look into reshafting, I do want to stick with stiff, and Steel?

Are you happy with the current ball flight? If so... why consider a change? did you ask when you were fitted for these?

I have the t-step in R flex and find them a high trajectory flight with the r7. I got the t-step pimarily because it is a light shaft, And I liked the feel.

I did not get fitted for these I bought them used. I have however been fitted a number of times and every time i get fitted I test to standard Lie, Length, grip size, with a stiff shaft. So I bought these (pretty darn cheap) assuming if I got fitted for these I would again fall in the "off the rack" category. But for the price I got I could afford to replace the shaft if there is a much better option. thank you for you insight on these shafts. Oh and I am not real sure if I like the shaft, I live in Maine and have only hit a couple hundred balls into a net inside with them. thanks again

Here is the info emailed to me from TM when I asked for the specs on the T Steps in my rac OS2's, R flex:

The specifications for the T-Step Ultralite are as follows:

Weight: 90 grams
Torque: 1.7
Trajectory: Mid

I then emailed with True Temper to find a similar shaft for an older set of irons (TT makes the T Steps for TM). Here is what TT told me:

We do make the shaft for TM.

Dynalite Gold SL would be much closer to the T Step. Next choice would
be TX 90.
Dynamic Gold would be more tip stiff and would possibly produce a lower
trajectory with a firmer feel at impact.

TT is saying that Dynalite Gold SL is the closest to the T Step's.

I hope this info helps!

The shafts were fine, but I decided to move to MX 23's with Dynalite Gold R300's. I like the forged feel better of the Mizzy's.
