Help Me Decide Nike Forged Blades or Mizuno MP32

Going to be getting a new set of irons soon and I have tried and I like both of these. In comparison, I like the look of the Nike at address more and I like the feel of the Mizuno at contact more.

Im a +1 handicap so I know what I'm getting into. I played MP14s about 5 years ago and ever since I've regretted going away from forged blades. I've played Cleveland TA3s for the last three years and I like them a lot but I want to go for a blade to get the maximum feel possilble.

What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Scott

Do you want to look good or score low?

I think you answered your own question.

Personally, I go with what is the most effective clubs. Looks don't matter to me. But, that's just me.

Good luck tonight, and please let us know what you decided on.

I dont like the new squared look of the Black pearl CG1s. I have always love cleveland too, but I think they messed up with the new design.

what club to use

To get a definite answer you have to swing the clubs in question.......

I made a great buy late last year and kept the driver ready for the first 18 last Sunday.
I wanted a different and better driver and longer hitting driver. The basic thing in choosing drivers and other clubs, something all pros and recommenders say, is the lower the loft the longer the club drives the ball.

So why go to driver with 12, 11, 10 or 9 degree loft....I found a used driver with 7 1/2 degree loft and can hit it far and I am satisfied. It was probably only a hit hundred times before I found it in the used shop, for $50. The shop had other second hand clubs that had never been hit for 30, 40, 50, or $60...........I just could not see paying 300 to 500 for a new driver when I could get the club I wanted for $50.........

I just had to say this...

But what irons to use, I cannot help you.....I changed to 3 Nicklaus Hybrids and kept the 7,8 & 9 King Cobra irons....

Aren't the Nikes modeled on the Mizunos?

I thought the Nikes were modeled on the Mizunos, or the Titleists, back around 2000. I suggest you
go with what you know-- only consider the 67's as well as the 60's while you are at it

Might as well throw in my two cents.

I've been a blade player for some time now, and I tried to sway away from it at the end of last season to get a more forgiving iron... I tried the Taylormade LT2's and needless to say they were sold within 2 months.

I'm in the market for a new set, since mine are pealing/rusting. I tried the Mizuno's (32's and 60's) and personally didn't like the feel very much when a pure ball was hit, not what I was used to. So I tried the new Taylormade RAC TP's and I absolutely love the feel of them. I've always been a Callaway hater, but I tried the Callaway X Forged irons last, with Project X 6.0 shafts, and have to say I am absolutely sold on them.

Give them a whirl. Roger Cleveland designed them and they aren't the typical bore through hossel design most Callaway's incorporate. They are extremely thin and have a lot of forgiveness at the bottom of the club.

My two cents,
Callaway X Forged w/ Project X
Taylormade RAC TP w/ Project X

Good luck!
