Top Flite HCT Tour clubs?
My g/f, a golfer for several years now, took me to the driving range yesterday and I immediately became addicted. I had never swung a club in my life and was pretty happy with how I hit the ball, relatively speaking. She was also pretty surprised that I did fairly well.

So, in the quest for a set of beginner's clubs, I came across the Top Flite HCT Tour clubs being offered by Target. $229 for a complete set.

Top Flite HCT

As I understand it, Callaway owns Top Flite. Is it reasonable to assume Callaway actually makes these clubs? Either way, does anyone have experience with these? I'm not looking to spend much more than 2 bills for my first bag of clubs and, for cheap clubs, these at least are branded with a name I'm familiar with. As I progress I'll upgrade accordingly.

I would look for complete sets from ebay, you could probably get a better deal than that

I did just that, thanks. Found the same set of clubs and saved about $40. Hopefully, they will suffice for a beginner hacker.
