What clubs?

I'm putting together another bag that I can leave in my office at work. And i was wondering what iron's would I need? I have a 3 wood, 3,5 iron, a putter and a lob wedge that I have as spares, thats gonna go into the bag..what else will I need? This bag will mainly be used for the range and a short 9 hole course near the area...I'm thinking all I need is a 7 iron and a pitching wedge?

If you have the ability to get out of sand with PW, then I would take that but also all other short irons. If you're practicing and playing the short course you would want to hone your skills on those clubs. Wouldn't u also want to practice the driver on the range or do u just use the 3W?

Go play the 9 hole course and see what clubs you use, and how often you use them. That should give you a good idea of what you need in your bag. As a back up bag I might choose to limit myself to really hone a few clubs. In my case I would probably prefer a 3 wood, 5 iron, 8 iron and putter.
