This question is so open ended I could think of 20 clubs that would fit this. If you are looking at last years technology just about everything made in 2006.

Nike SQ. They are going for 199 in most of the golf stores I have been in thanks to the release of the Sumos.

In NC we have many golf stores that carry pre-owned clubs, in very good shape...this is by far your best choice. Make sure the shaft and loft fits your swing, more than name on the club. Good luck!!

IMHO at that price point: try Krank Golf at Krankgolf.com. They sell made to fit drivers and include a fairway wood for about $200. I bought the 9* stiff shafted driver and a 3 wood. Added twenty-five yards carry to my drives. Lot's of compliments on the red color ( a few . egads..also.) and few gee whiz at distance gain.

Yeah this is most likely the best driver for under $250, although the HiBore is worth a look as well as the Cobra Speed models.

X2. The R5 can be had for $200. Could probably even use the remaining $50 towards a better shaft.
