Anyone notice Retief's putter yesturday?

He switched back to his YES Tracy putter.....but the funny thing is that it seemed to have a Taylormade grip and head cover on it.

He also said after the tourney that he switch back to his old irons this week. Whatever those may be

New equipment doesn't necessarily mean better equipment. I believe Tiger retired the Nike Sasquatch fairway wood and uses the "old" T-60.

Manufacturers come out with new stuff so frequently all the time buying golf equipment is like buying a computer...it's "obsolete" as soon as you leave the store.

That said, there is not a whole lot more they can do with the equipment anymore. But the hype continues. I say invest in lessons. After many years I finally purchased new equipment. I expect this to last me for many years to come--except maybe my driver, which when I was swinging it on the range was a bit to close to my bag and BAM on my down swing hit my irons and put a nice big dent in it. Sheesh....

In any event, for me anyway, it's all about the swing...

I actually saw Tiger use is Faiway Sasquatch on Sunday. Took his shot with it, and noticed it when he put it away.

More to the question, I actually didn't see his putter

Doesn't he use an old Ping? I thought that is what I read on his putter grip.

I could of swore he was using the T-60...my bad.

Tiger's putter is a Scotty Cameron under normal circumstances. I doubt there was anything special enough about Augusta's greens to get him to change brands.
