Shaft Weight???

I have a 57 gram UST V2 proforce shaft and thinking about switching my stock Superquad shaft for the V2...the TM shaft is 67 gr Re AX ....What significant changes should i expect if i do the Swap? I've heard that the lighter the shaft the swing weight is reduced hence more clubhead speed = Distance yet lose some control....is this partly correct??

Generally, a slightly heavier shaft is easier to feel and keep on plane. So I'd say that is party correct. I'm sure there are those on here that can explain better.

Yeah a heavier shaft will provide more control, but because of the weight the swing speed generated would most likely decrease.

So most likely if you go to a lower weight shaft you trade off more distance for less accuracy, of course it's also dependent on your own swing...
