Old Callaway Driver

I just bought an old Callaway Big Bertha Driver 9.0 (Original). It looks in pretty good shape and it only cost me $20. Just wondered what anyone might think about playing with old technology such as this even though it's a classic driver?

Re: Old Callaway Driver

There's a cool factor to playing with "old technology". Also, if you get good results why not?

... BUT, before moving to a Cleveland HiBore I used a nice Callaway Warbird 2 wood. The big headed, long shafted drivers intimidated me. Turns out it was the (for me) the ridiculously unmanageable 45" shafts. I ordered the 44" version of the '06 hiBore and, voila, no more longing for ole reliable Wardbird 2 wood. Still keeping it though. : )
