Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

I want to save some money and buy my golf shoes online. But I'm wondering how they fit. I have both adidas and Nike cross training shoes, so I want to know if I can just order the same size as those.

Your help is appreciated.

Re: Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

For me, Nike shoes have always been 1/2 to 1 size smaller than the size on the shoe, i.e. a 10 is really and 9 or 9-1/2. Their golf shoes seem to be the same way. I bought a pair two weeks ago and had to get 1 size larger than normal. So yes, the golf shoe seems to be the same as their normal shoes. Hopes this helps?

Re: Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

Honestly, I do not usually buy Nike or Adidas shoes, but I have Nike golf shoes.
I buy Reebok shoes usually; my running shoes are 12
My biking shoes are 11.5 I think
My basketball shoes are 12
And my Nike golf shoes are 11.5
they are a little snug, but fit like an average 11.5

My Nike golf shoes are a 2001 model I think.

I'm really digging the look of the adidas university in black. They are pretty simple, but not completely black. I have a pair of adidas cross trainers that look like them. Anyone have these shoes?

Re: Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

golf shoes, in general, run larger than a tennis shoe would. For most people, it's usually about 1/2 a size to a whole size difference. I used to tell people that they fit more like dress shoes. But, as with anything, but especially in shoes, you should always try it on. Not even all Nikes fit the same, and there's nothing worse than finding out your shoes are the incorrect size after wearing them for a full day and voiding any chance of returning them.

A couple years ago I got an awesome deal on some FootJoys on Ebay. First however I went to a golf shop and tried on various pairs to see how they fit; that way I knew what size to order etc. Good luck!

I wear a size 10 in regular Shoes and Cowboy Boots. In Nike cross trainers and Golf Shoes I wear a 10 1/2.

Re: Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

I have a pair of Adidas Campas sneakers in size 11 so I ordered the same exact shoes your looking at, the University's in 11. They fit great. The only difference is that the University's are a pretty narrow shoe, but provide a lot of side support that way. They're very light and comfortable.

Re: Question for adidas / Nike golf shoe users

I was actually looking at getting this exact shoe (in white) in the next few days, but was worried about them being too narrow. My local Dick's didn't have wide versions available, but I did see them online.

Where did you purchase yours last night? Is there a good deal somewhere?

Here is how in case anyone else wants to try the same.
