Quick, count your clubs....

Judging by the number of equipment posts around here, I'm anxious to see some of the 3 digit responses.

How many clubs do you have?

Drivers: 3
Woods: 8
Irons: 16
Utilities: 2
Wedges: 5
Putters: 5

38 for me. Next?

Extra 1-iron for one of those sets

Junior,

400 balls! Please tell me you ARE NOT that guy with the ball retriever "fishin" on every water hole.

2 Drivers (1 used for winter golf only)
2 3 woods (see above)
2 9 woods
6 PING irons (5-PW)
12 Wedges of different makes and lofts
3 Putters (blade, mallet, and hybrid)
4 dozen Titleist Pro V1s

If you are that guy....can I buy back my Pro V1s....cheap?
I'm not much of a club collector. When I find something that works for me...I stick with it.

I guess you could say that, i am a junior and for the course i look around in the OB and in the water and every where else you can think of to manage to find balls and i can keep the good balls i find if i want and i give the rest to the course, some turn into range balls, some turn into 5 for 2 buck balls or what not. I do this on rainy days or later in the evening after the last tee time has went out usually one a week or so. Actually works out to be a good deal for me and i am helping out my course by doing so. Slap on some old clothes and rubber boots and bring out a couple bags and retriver and wedge and long stick or something and i am set.
All i play is good balls such as pro v1's and stuff because i find alot of them at my course and probably 300 of the around 400 are balls such as revolutions, various nikes, pro v1's, various callaways, and every other top of the line ball you can think of. Then there is the decent balls such as DT Solos and NXT's and U tri's and what not for the other 100.
I also got sent a bunch of balls for free from Dunlop Canada, Moebiuses are great balls.
So techinically i am not fishin on every hole holding anybody up.
The guy that posted before me by the way had 2000 balls....

I wasn't trying to pick on you Junior. It sounds like you've got a good thing going for yourself. I was referring to the guy that holds up the entire course while he fishes for balls. Most of which he'll just end up hitting back into the water! I thought the 2000 balls were part of a collection. I collect them too, I just don't keep them very long.

Junior, your efforts are certainly appreciated here, buddy. Warms my heart to know there are young guys "hawking" balls like I used to do and still do. Really aggravates me when someone hits 2 or 3 off the same tee, then picks one and leaves the rest....oh, and leaves the **** tee in the ground as well. How many times have I hit one in the rough and find half a dozen balls, none of which are mine. You know **** well others are doing the same thing except they just leave 'em there unless, of course, it's a ProV1. I used to do it after tourneys at the local course and fill my golf bag and shag bag. The most important things in golf, to me, are to be a gentleman, fix your divots and two more, keep the course clean (that includes language...but I know that's a hard one)....if you do those, enjoying the game will come naturally. Keep up the good work.

Club count

Drivers: 4
Fairway Woods: 6
Irons: 8
Putters: 4
Bags: 1 carry bag, 1 leather Miller bag
Balls: yes
Shoes: 3 pairs, plus 1 pair of golf sandals

I have to hide some of this stuff because my wife is a fanatic about throwing away unused equipment, but I just can't let go of some of these old companions--I can't say friends because they let me down too many times! ;)

No umbrella, no rainsuit - I live in a desert steppe climate. Rain is almost real if you can imagine the concept. Although I do have a wind shirt.

Yes, i know you were not trying to pick on me :)
Just saying that 400 isn't very much compared to the 2000 or so that the guy that posted ahead of me had.
