28* Hybrid?

It would be a 6 hybrid to replace my ping eye 2 5 iron that is 28*. The only company's I have seen make them are TM and Cleveland.. TM has the r7 draw and Cleveland has the Halo.

How much would the r7 draw really draw?

Is the Halo a good hybrid?

Which one would you choose?

Any other Hybrids out there that are 27-29*'s??

please help! I have to turn in my Christmas list in soon! lol

Re: 28* Hybrid?

Bobby Jones, I believe makes a replacement for a 5-iron. The Halo is nice. I haven't hit the r7 Draw.

Look at getting a 5-iron from the Cleveland HiBore set. I'm sure you could buy just that one club on a special order. Also, look into the Tour Edge Bazooka J-Max.

Re: 28* Hybrid?

Two that I am familiar with are by Callaway :

Callaway X at 27*
Callaway Heavonwood at 29*

The Hibore 5 "iron" would have significantly more offset than the above hybrids.
Just something to be aware of.

Of course, shaft length differences might be another
issue when working a hybrid into your set.

Re: 28* Hybrid?

Bazooka Jmax I think makes a hybrid somewhere around there too.

Ping's new G10 has 28* and a 32*. I've heard many good reviews about them. Give them a try.
