That's not what came to my mind first, but there's not a statement more true. 75 yards and in is generally the area where golfers can make the most dramatic improvement in their games. I think for your scoring average, you can probably drop your handicap by 10 strokes or so by focusing on improving that area of your game.
If you're hades-bent on getting new irons, or if your current set doesn't fit you in terms of shaft flex, bend point, or lie angle... then by all means look into replacements. If you don't want to spend a ton of cash, check out
