If you have a K-Mart near you, check the sporting goods section to see if they have balls on clearance. I went in one today and they had some great deals.

The dozen Precept XP3 with a free hat in the box were $10. That is a very good "value" ball, basically last years version of the new Distance IQ180(which is a Golf Digest Hot List ball for 2008). The hat is nice too, I have a navy one and a khaki one. They had quite a few Top Flite XL2000 and XL3000 15 packs, but I really didn't pay attention to the price on those. I think they were around $6.

My find of the year was the 3 dozen original Precept Laddies I found sitting on the shelf. They were marked $10. I used to love that ball, so I threw a box in the cart. When I checked out they rang up for $1.50 I knocked down 3 kids, 2 old ladies, and a nun running back to grab the other 2 dozen.

Those are good deals, even for shag balls. Wal Mart has Wilson Pi3 balls for $11.00 here at my local store. I thought about trying them, but they don't have many boxes left in the case I were to like them.
