Golf Cleats?

I dont know if this is the right area (if not im sure it will get moved to the proper location) but im looking at a set of Adidas PowerBand Sport shoes, but cannot find any feed back on them. I like the sportier tennis shoe look, as im younger i do not like the "saddle shoe" look. Does anyone have them and if so give some reviews... Thanks...

Re: Golf Cleats?

Don't quote me but I believe Sergio had been wearing them. The power band is supposed to give support to the side of the foot and not allow it to roll out giving supposedly better power in transition and more control to post.

Re: Golf Cleats?

yeah...they are good shoes. they are a lot like the tour 360 or tour 360 II but not quite as expensive and still very good. especially if you walk a lot, very comfortable.

Re: Golf Cleats?

I love mine, picked up a pair last season. Very comfy and ultra stable.

Cool to see another Albuquerque head here... Hit me up with a PM if you would like to play sometime. I play over at Arroyo 3-4 times a week, and usually just go solo and get paired up, so let me know.

Re: Golf Cleats?

You can use any shoes you want. If there not golf shoes, Just take what you have and put alot of tooth picks on the bottoms of them. Youll be able to air rate the greens too :)

Re: Golf Cleats?

I have a pair and I like it better than the Nike's SP6 or SP5.5 because the Adidas are flatter and give me more balance towards my heel (leaning too far towards the toes is my problem). And it's stable compared to other golf shoes due to the design (Adidas front soles are wider and have perimeter skirt).
