I'm looking at getting a 2 hybrid and a 3 hybrid in the near future. I have a 15* 3 wood. and a 26* hybrid. I hit my 3 wood about 220 off the deck. I hit it about 240 off the tee. . I hit my 26* hybrid about 170. So I need a club that will go 200, and a cllub that will go 185. So i'm thinking about a 19* and a 22*. Do you know of any hybrid from 40-75 dollars with those lofts? I think the cleveland hibores do. Along with taylormade's.. But j/w if anyone knows of any others..
Probably some others if you dig enough. If you decide to buy, don't settle for their 12% off, use July4th2008 and you'll get 15% off. Not much more, but every bit helps right?
The hybrids listed earlier are good brands. You can go to stealgolf.com to review golf equipment on eBay. It is a good way to see all the available golf stuff on eBay.
For example, there is an Orlimar Fury 19 degrees being sold for $45 (buy it now price). The Hogan hybrids are well within your price range. I have the Hogan 1H in my bag and hit it to long par 3's and on shots that I want to go around 200. It's a little hard to hit and stop because of the loft, but the 2H was easier to hit high.
alright thanks for the suggestions. I have to sell some equipment first. then talk to my parents. But out of the choices i'm going to look into the nickent, hogan, taylormade, and the cleveland hibore.
I'm still considering getting a 5 wood and a 22* hybrid. So then I would probably get a hibore 5 wood. And then just get one hybrid
Seems like you will have a group of clubs with very little difference between them. From your signature, I see 15, 21, 22, 26, and 27 (5 iron) degree clubs. I would think you should space the clubs a little better (15, 18, 21, 24, 27). You could even adjust to 15, 19, 23, 27 degree clubs and add a 52 degree gap wedge to your game.
It's your choice and you know what's working and not working.
that is right andy804. my degrees are close. and thats why i have to get new clubs. it worked fine last year. but i have improved alot and i now go for greens when i am 200 or so out. so i have to do something about that. I like hitting woods so i think i will go ahead and get a 5 wood not a 2 hybrid. and then a 22* and keep my 26* and take out my 5 iron and my 6 iron is 30* so that is an even 4* difference. then for my bday i will ask for a 52* n a 56* wedge.
Hard to go wrong with the Rescue Mid unless you're really good and fight a hook. Then you might want to look at the Titleist 585.h, which is a pretty sweet one.
