which ball ?

HI jeff here , i'm having a bit of trouble finding a golf ball that will be right for me , at the moment i'm playing off a 25 handicap and have a swing speed of 92mph , i'm looking for a ball that will give me max distance as well as controll , has anyone got any thoughts on what sort of ball i should be looking at and which brand will be the best to go for , any tip would be great .

Bridgestone E6, Titleist DT-Carry/Roll.

I prefer the E6 overall.

The previous are good choices to try. If you desire a little more spin around the greens, you might include the Bridgestone E-5+ at the same price.

Re: which ball ?

Do not be offended but at a 25 hadicap you have no use for an expensive ball or one that spins. At this point in your game you want something inexpensive and very little spin and control. You smply do not have the skill, and using such a ball will only make matters worse.

Use something like a Top-Flite D2. They cost around $14 for 15 balls. They come in three varieties. Use the Green fell model for that soft feeling. But if I were you would use the Straight model as they do not spin much which will straighten out your shots.

Re: which ball ?

I agree with dereckbc. Topflite D2 is a decent ball for a good price for that profile.
