Question Lob or standard wedge?

I am considering putting in a bid on ebay. There are two clubs I am interested in, Ping Zing Lob and standard wedges. I am not really sure which one to bid on (if any). I think the Lob wedge is 58 degrees and the pitching wedge 46 degrees. I would imagine that the best option is the Lob but any suggestions would help. I have Ping Eye 2+ Copper Beryllium but cannot find a suitable wedge which is why I am looking at the Zings which are copper Beryllium..

Thanks

Brian

Re: Lob or standard wedge?

Forget the LOB wedge if you don't have a pitching wedge; PW first.

Re: Lob or standard wedge?

I agree with Alf. PW first then a SW. The Zing L wedge is huge and always put me off. It never felt as versatile as a more compact one to me.
Cheers,
Bob

OK thanks, what about the Ping Tour series wedges, what degree club would be suitable. I do quite fancy these. There are loads of them about.
