Marc Anthony

In the new issue of Golf Magazine, there is an article about Marc Anthony, the skinny twiit who married self-absorbed Jennifer Lopez. The article is about how he recently took up and golf and is "addicted" to the game. Anthony is quoted as saying that he had never played before, yet he "birdied the third hole", (***coughing***bull*******cough***). He also said that he went immediately to the pro shop and asked for "the most expensive clubs" they had. He ended up with some Japanese made clubs that cost $22,000. I had never heard of the company, but I can guarantee you they are not worth it.

Man, I hate celebrities. I wish I could get this moron on the course with my $500 bag of clubs.

Ihaverangeballs - I agree with you. The fact that the guy spent $22k on clubs proves that intelligence and wealth do not go together. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, whether it is with hand-me-downs, garage sale clubs, or $22k clubs. I hope he enjoys the game and stops BS'ing about his scores.

What brand of clubs could cost $22K? I think that is a little far fetched too. Maybe it was 22,000 yen.

Maybe they came stuffed into the trunk of a Honda Accord or something! And I love Hondas.

The brand of clubs that he got were Honma. Honma is a brand from Japan. They make very exp[ensive clubs and mainly sell to the wealthy people in Japan. In Japan some people get judged on the brand of golf clubs they have.

ForgedRbest, no that doesn't seem to far fetched at all, these clubs are literally that expensive.

A ton of people play with them here in LA.
So you have to be asian to play with "Honma"s? LOL For some reason's asian's gravitate toward this stuff (Honma). I can confirm it is very expensive. I believe their stuff twnds to be shorter in length compare to the rest of the stuff you can buy of the rack. It is nice looking htough..would be afraid to scratch it.

Yes, thir stuff does tend to be shorter than what we have over here. I am pretty sure because asians are i guess shorter than americans. On average i guess they are said to be shorter. But yes their stuff is shorter.
