Golf Pride Grips - I must have!

I swung my friend's irons earlier...he had Golf Pride grips(Golf Pride Whisper to be exact)...wow,they felt so great...they felt like they stuck to your hands...so much better than my old 15 year old grips...i now believe that i've being holding onto my clubs a little too tightly...
Are they expensive?

Zak.

Expensive means a diffent thing to some people than it does to others. Call a Golfsmith store or go online and check the price of those grips. But I'd recommend you check out all the grips at Golfsmith, as Golf Pride isn't the only grips worth buynig, and not my favoraites by a long shot.

One Putt,

As far as grips, what would you recommend for just a good all around grip, good feel, good grip etc...

I prefer the Golf Pride Tour Wrap. In my opinion, they have a great feel, and are not very expensive. I just paid $5.98 to have one installed on my 54* wedge.

Could not agree more. Definitely consider the GP Tour Wraps. Great feel for a great price. I've been using them for about 15 years now,

Tour Wrap is a good, long lasting, and very popular grip. I install them for $5 total (grip and installation). The important part is to get the size that feels best to YOU. Don't worry about what the "standard" is, it may not work for you. If your friend's grips felt right then make sure you get the same size. By same size I mean make sure they are MEASURED on the club.

Vani; Check out Hireko.com and look at the Royal 1/4 cord grips on sale for under $1.50. I've been using them for 5 years now, and it's by far my favorite grip. Much less money than the GP grip, it lasts for years, and it provide great holding power in your hand. They sold for around $3.00 a few years ago under the Lambkin name, Now being sold as Royal grips, since Lambkin took over Royal. Excellent grip for a great price.
