good/cheap grips

Anyone know of any good grips that aren't really expensive? My dad found an OLD, set of Taylormades in the attic and I've talked him into picking up golf. I'd like to get his entire set re-gripped for Christmas but don't necessarily want to/can't afford to, spend $50-$75 doing so, if I can get them all done for $25 -$30 I'd be syked. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: good/cheap grips

I've had some clubs re-gripped with Lampkins for five bucks a club...

Check Hireko Custom Golf Clubs and Components - Home and look into their KARMA brand. Excellent quality and endurance. Also Ebay has Sharpro which are 2nd to none.

Unless you plan on doing them yourself, you aren't going to save much by buying the less expensive stuff...golf pride has several grips for around 3 bucks a pop (tour velvet is my fav) and that will fit your budget IF you do them yourself...I don't know of anyone who is going to sell you a grip plus put it on for you/ strip off the old one for 3 bucks total a club; not happening...

Re: good/cheap grips

Both Hireko and Golfsmith have some grips for under $2 each, some as low as $1 each. Best thing for YOU to do would be to learn HOW to install them yourself if you only want to spend $25 for the set. It's not hard to do and well worth learning.

It's really not hard to do! I do them for alot of people at my golf club. It's very easy and a money maker! I learned from a Youtube video!
