Ping G15 Hybrids

I was getting so frustrated with my long irons, 3-5. I went to Golf Galaxy to demo some hybrids yesterday. I couldn't be happier! I hit everything straight! I picked up a 23degree and plan on picking up the 27degree next week. I know that people either love them or hate them but for a high handicapper like me it was a no brainer. Can't wait to get on the course! If you're thinking about it I suggest demo it first as they are a bit pricey and may not fit your swing style.

Thanks for the idea. I've gone to higher number fairway metals to replace my long irons, but I don't always get good shots, so I'll try the new hybrids and see if they yield improved results.

I actually replaced my 3 iron with a 7-wood love it in fact. I just replaced my 4 and 5 with hybrids, I just can't explain the difference in ball flight. It's great.

hybrids are probably the greatest thing that has ever happened to the game since steel shafts.

Re: Ping G15 Hybrids

You're telling me, my confidence now from 175-205 has changed from knowing I have a 10% chance of hitting a good shot to believing every shot can be good. I really just can't describe the difference.

Billyg, I think you will really like some of the new ones. Let us know what you think.
