Re: cleveland cg15 wedge
Guys; there are TWO verssions of the new CG-15 wedges. One is legal for use on tour and is marks with the word "TOUR" on the back of the blade. The other version has the non-confroming grooves and is good for Non USGA use only, and that means amatuers no plaing in USGA events can use them until 2024. I've got a set of each for testing, and there is a good bit of difference in spin from the rought, but not that much from the short grass. IF you look at the back of the heads, the standard vesron says "ZIP GROOVES? and the Tour vession says "Tour ZIP GROOVES". Both models have the new LASER CUT shallow grooves between the full size grooves for adder spin. The Laser cut grooves are suppose to provide some 1200 extra RPM of back spin compared to the older XG-14 wedges with the ZIP grooves.
