Hey Guys, I just got a set of Mizuno MX-200 irons and they came with Dynalite Gold SL Sensicore shafts rather than the standard Dynalite Gold XL that Mizuno fits them with normally. I didnt realize it until after I bought a 3iron for the set and it came to me with the XL. So was wondering what you all think is a better shaft between the two and what the main differences are between these two?

Sensicore is an insert that mutes the vibrations at ball contact...I prefer shafts with inserts, think they feel more solid and they hurt my tender elbows less...

I agree with Bump on the Sensicore inserts. I just looked in my Goflsmith catalog and didn't find any mention of a Dynalite Gold XL shaft, so I can't tell you what the difference is compared to the SL shaft. I'd recommend you get on the TT site and see what they have to say about both and see which one might be best for YOU.

I believe the xl's are proprietary and designed for the mizuno mx 300...the mx 200 and mx 25 and 23 before them all used the sl...I would imagine that they were all fairly similar, but the xl in the 300 was balanced specifically for that head...just guessing though...
