Golf Club Patents

When a company like Nickent goes out of business, what happens to the patents they hold???

Has another company purchased the patents???

The concept behind the ARC Blade is genius, and I was thinking that a company with a better strong-hold in the industry could have made a pile of cash with the club.

Re: Golf Club Patents

A patent is treated like a piece of property or an asset, and therefore would be sold. if the company fails to sell the patent, it is defaulted to the state, in this case being the USA.

I used a set of ARC blades for a year and agree that it would be smart to pick it up for a company like Titleist or Callaway making forged blades, or even Ping who looks like it is entering that market.
