Does anyone know where online I can buy retro like golf clothes. I'm looking for somthing kinda like the J. Lindeberg collection but not as crazy or expensive.

Watch out, because with Forged in here, you may be getting into more than you asked for Allen!! His idea of "retro" is not what you might be looking for, so I'd suggest you ignore anything he tells you...

Just a friendly warning...

Let's just say...alligator boots, bright red pants with a large white leather belt are only PART of the ensemble...his wife's been trying to make him get rid of them for years, and he could see the perfect opportunity to pawn them off on an unsuspecting victim!

Save yourself a lot of money and just check in your dad's closet. My bet is you'll find all the "retro like golf clothes" you need!

HAHAHA yeah I've been in there. The problem is I am the same size as him as he was when he went to West Point. He has like green and red pants but they are just too big.

I think you just have to go out in the stores because there's a lot of attire of what I consider "retro" golf clothes. Argyle sweaters and sweater vests are really in style right now. Polo is also a good bet for "retro" golf clothes. They had their usual assortment of polo shirts in every color and had pants in red, yellow, blue, etc. It may be a little tough to find stuff at Polo now because they have their Fall and Winter stuff out right now. Come Spring, they should be restocked with the "latest retro" fashions.

I already have some retro clothes and I was just looking to find a spot to pick up some more. I have the silver and greyish pants. And I am working on finding a white belt to go with my white shoes. I also have a teal and lime green polo shirts along with an argyle sweater. I just really want the white belt.

For the ultimate in retro golfwear, track down DiFini golfwear - the quintessential golf brand of the 50's has been resurrected. I haven't been able to find a website but you can find some stuff on eBay.

That's great!

I don't know what this J Lindeberg line is that you mention, but if it involves white belts, slim fit pastel colored pants and slim fit shirts, my opinion would be to get another look. The Swedes may be able to just barely pull this look off, but Hank Keuhne? Get along... The Goodwill commercial with Jesper and Duffy Waldorf come to mind.

My theory on golf fashion. Make sure you can wear the stuff off the course while not looking like a total moron.

On the other hand, I'm a fiend for shopping. So if this is your thing, have fun.

I bought a white belt a while ago, and I love wearing it on the course! It looks great with black trousers and a pure black shirt, really goes well!

Although, I recently started wearing it when i was going out to clubs and stuff, and lets just say I'm not the only one!

I love the look of J Lindberg etc. golf clothing, wish it was a bit cheaper

Boy, am I ever sorry that I got rid of all those polyester pants with great prints I wore back in the 70's, with two-inch belt loops. I could open my own retro store!
