Exclamation TaylorMade Rescue Mid or Mid TP?

Hi,

Im thinking about replacing my 2 iron with one of these. I've hit a mid and
liked it a lot.

What are your opinions on these clubs?
Has anybody hit a tp?
Im thinking the 19degree will fit in between my 3wd and 3 iron, that right?

Thanks!

I would defenitely hit one first. A friend of mine has lent me his and I have a problem hooking, overdrawing it. it is the tp. He had the same problem with it too and the club is even x stiff. we both are single digit hcp 7 & 5.5 THe club is offset a lot. you might want to try a ben hogan, I believe it is supposed to not be so offset.

the mid is a good club, & that loft should be about right. the tp, i think, has a higher cog & is designed for a more boring ball flight. for most the reg mid would be good, but if you're a lower handicapper, then you should try the tp.
there is a whole load of hybrid options right now, so shop around.

i carry a nickent hybrid sometimes to replace my 2i. kinda depends on the course and weather. i probably won't take it back out until spring now cause it's longer out of the fairway.

Cheers.
Im a single digit player. My natural shot is a slight draw so i prefer minimal
offset. The tp would suit this best and also its unlikely ill see anyone else
at my club with one! Was just wondering if its as versatile out the rough and bad lies. Mind you i think more pro's just use the regular mid.

I really need to hit a few balls to compare first but nobody has one so ill
probably just buy one off ebay and take my chances.
I can always sell it on.

I got my Rescue Mid off of Ebay, it was off a tour van and has the same shaft as my irons, S300. I too am a single digit handicap and like you my ball flight is a slight draw but when I hit the rescue its a bigger draw, because of the offset I think. Anyway, I started to get annoyed because of the more right to left and as a result have switched from the rescue to a Callaway Fusion 3 wood which seems to be working alright
