comparison: speeder vs gd

interested in the comparison of the fuji 652 speeder reg flex shaft compared to the graph. design ys-6 stiff . i believe the 652 stiff would be to stiff for my swing.

any input appreciated, thanks

From each website. I play the YS-6 in my driver and like the shaft. I had a 980F 15* with the same shaft but did not like in that club. I don't know what the Titleist Speeder (made my Fujikura) compares to but I prefer that in fairway woods.

Fujikura 652 Speeder Regular Flex
Swing Weight (g) 30
Length (in) 46
Weight (g) 65
Tip Flex (mm) 115
Butt Flex (mm) 87
Torque (degrees) 3.7
CPM 260
Tip Diameter (in) 0.335
Parallel Tip Length (in) 2.5
Butt Diameter (in) 0.615
Bend Point - Mid
Torque - mid
Weight - ultralite
Perfect ultralite shaft for medium swing tempo

Graphite Design YS-6 Stiff
Length - 46.0"
Weight - 64 grams
Tip - .335"&.350"
Butt - .600"
Torque - 3.5"
Kick - MID 6.0

The speeder is much better IMO. I have the 652 in my driver in a stiff flex. My swing speed is 100 on an avg. swing. I thought the ys-6 was a little wimpy. The 652 is for a medium tempo. Not a slow or fast swing but a medium tempo. You can swing hard with a medium tempo or light with a medium tempo....bottom line is temop is not the same a swing speed. Els is not a fast tempo swinger like Tiger is but his swing speed is 119mph. The right flex it what you after with respect to swing speed. The 652 is the "every mans" shaft. The 652 feels much more solid then the ys-6 and the shot dispersion is tighter. It can handle a fast swing or a medium swing and it feels the same. It is a wonderful shaft. You can get the 652 in a R flex if you worried about your swing speed but 95 is stiff range according to Fujikura...90-105 for a stiff flex. The 652 is easy to load so with your swing speed a stiff should not be much of a problem. Check out www.fujikuragolf.com the site may help..
