Mizuno

Hey evreyone. As my search for irons lags on i think i may have finally fond the ones. I was wondering if anyone has any feedback about the Mizuno MX-20's. Thanks

Brendan

There is little difference between the mx20's and mx23's as far as I was aware. Both are nice clubs as they are still forged - compared to cast clubs. I play forged blades (well actually forged cut muscle clubs)at the moment, but even if I went back to cativy back clubs I would stick with Mizuno as they are forged.

They have won quite a few accolades

MX-20 Reply

The MX-20 has been replaced by the MX-23, they are virtually identical. I've demo'd the MX-23 and it is a great club.

I got MX-23's over the winter, and played my first nine holes with them on Saturday. Great feeling clubs, great looking clubs. If the MX-20's are similar you should have no problem with them. They get great reviews, and are lauded as being OK for most any level of golfer.

I've had MX-23's for the past 2 golf seasons. I love these clubs. My old clubs were Callaway X-12's and played them for 7 years. I did a lot of research and testing and liked the MX-23's. I will never go back to my X-12's because they feel like rocks compared to the MX-23's. The feel and look of these clubs are heaven.

I researched all types of clubs before I bought a set of MX-20 irons. before this set i had a set of cast dunlop irons, and what a world of difference. MX-20 clubs and the MX-23 are forged meaning the club head is made from one piece of metal that is pounded into shape as opposed to cast into a mold. THe difference is truly noticeable in feel. I am just a weekend duffer but i can feel an enormous difference. A gentle swing can produce far greater distance than with cast clubs. MX-20s have resulted in fewer mishits and when i do mishit it still goes straight. you cant go wrong picking up these clubs. if you have any questions let me know. Beware of Callaway and others that are in the same price range but are not forged. take care

I have played with the MX23 for several months now (only cost me a couple of nights on the couch). The feeling you get when you tag one is almost like sex, especially because I don't score as often as I would like. The MX 20's are just about identical, these are outstanding clubs that are veeeeerrry accurate. Wish I could putt....

The MX 20 is supposed to be very much like the MX 23. If I were in the market for new irons the 23 would be a strong contender. But I'll keep my current clubs and sleep in bed.

I think the MX-23's have more offset than the MX-20's. Both are very similar and both get great reviews.

I am seriously considering buying a Mizuno MP-001 driver. I am obviously a Mizuno fan as i have their irons. I have tried out the MP-001 and just wanted thoughts from others who own one.
