Non-conforming r5

Im looking on the net and I saw a Taylormade r5 non-conforming driver. Is this driver worth it, i mean what more does it have, or do than a USGA r5?? Is it more worth it to get a non-conforming driver for the same price as a USGA r5??? .86 vs.83. How much better is it? Im not a tourny player so im not really worried about how illegal it is.

And I think they are a little harder to control because of the ball coming off the face sooner.

.86 to .83 is less than 4% increase. So it'll be however far you hit your driver plus ~4%. If you're hitting it 250 now that's roughly 10 yards. Unless you're hitting it really short, not worth IMO.
