Well, now you can get them for a fair price (for a high end shaft that is) but when they first came out they were over $200.

I shopped around before getting mine reshafted and the best deal I found was $250 installed. That's the aftermarket shaft. The factory installed shafts are usually a little cheaper. I picked up a R7 TP with stock 757 in great shape last year for $350.

Overall I've seen the shafts themselves sell NEW for anywhere between $225 to $275. Usually $275 to $325 installed.

Great, great shaft!

Good luck!

Agree on Fuji shafts. I play Rflex 757 in Driver and Rflex Banzai335 in 4W. Both shafts are easy to hit , accurate, and long for this 'old spoon'!

I don't know about "player" shaft, but I used to use a steel shaft in my 3 wood and have switched to the stiff 757...it just feels great...I don't know about loading and unloading, but feels more stable than my adila nv 75 and shoots the ball out well with an easy swing. My swingspeed? I don't know...I average 260 on drives with the odd one going 220 or 290 depending on many things (this includes roll as I can't see well enough to determine carry landings). It resembles steel feel without the weight which I like and does not have the torque of a lighter weight graphite shaft which I find distracting.

I have the 757 in x-stiff tour spec that came in my R7 quad ht 9.5 I ordered. The best control shaft I've used and is still considered one of the best of all times and still gets used by some of the pros. I don't feel I do it justice though because when I ordered it my normal SS was 117 and now it is somewhere close to 105 or a touch higher. Currently I parked it until I get my speed increased or will eventually sell it.

My average swing spped is only 108 to 111, but I use the X-stiff shaft and I love it. Best shaft I have ever played.
