Got my Ignite back with the Proforce installed, not exactly what I expected but it is a pretty good shaft. Love the medium ball flight I get, and, this shaft completely eliminated the left side of the course for me, I was actually getting aggravated because no matter what I did, I could not hit a hook, which is good because I've been fighting one for a while. That is a bad thing as well though because I can't even hit a draw now. All I do is cut, cut, cut. Even on the horrible shots, it is a prety controllable shaft. My bad slices with my R7 are about 60 yards off line, bad slices with the Ignite are about 30 yards off.

Overall, I give it a par.
Played 36 holes with it today, heres my update.
I really like this shaft. I didn't have any trouble with the slice except for 1 or 2 holes and my favorite thing is it still completely eliminated my hook. I brought both the R7 and the Ignite to compare. I hit one drive off the first tee with the Ignite - crushed a high draw down the right side of the fairway. Hit my comparison shot with the R7, same swing - hooked it into the next fairway to the left. The R7 never left the bag after that. It didn't completely turn around my game, but I was spraying the ball a lot less and I didn't have to fight the hook anymore.
It kicked my R7 out of the bag, so I'd say it's pretty nice. I give it 3 1/2 stars.
It's supposed to be a slightly lower kick point than say an NV, so it should have a higher launch, but it still has a strong tip, according to the blurbs.
I dunno about ball speed. Probably X flex I would think, what's your swing speed?
I just got a new Innovex CFD driver with a V2 stiff shaft, and I love it. I really nailed it yesterday. Great shaft for me, perfect launch angle with the 10* driver. Hitting the ball alot further than with my r540.
Just put a V2 stiff on my R7 9.5 draw.
WOW!!!!! I thought the stock shaft was good.
I am crushing it now. I can swing almost 100% and it wont stray too far L or R
I didnt know if i could justify $90 on a shaft when the OEMs are using "good"
shafts. I love the ball flight, mid and penetrating.
It feels soo smooth swinging.
A++
I had a Big Ben w/ a either a 75 or 65 R NV in there, and it always ballooned on me (I think it was the head more than anything). With my HiBore and 65R V2, I can hit any shot (high downwind ball, normal shot, low upwind ball) confident that it'll do what I want and my typical trajectory is mid-low. I like the feel of it far more than the NV, but they're both excellent shafts...
an aerage of 30 shots

would the proforce in a x flex in a 75 gram shaft be the right choice? im looking for a shaft with very tight dispertion. With my driver now i hit it wayyyy to high so im just trying to find the right shaft
thanks

this shaft will probably launch it higher than the shaft you have now. but with those stats, i don't think you really need to switch. an average launch angle of 12* is pretty much ideal. 17 is getting a little high there, but you hit it 286 (312 with roll), and that's pretty far. if you want just a stiffer shaft with a lower ball flight, try the fuji speeder 757 x-flex. or, if you really want to spend the money get a matrix ozik tp-7x, probably the best shaft out there, if it fits your swing.
