Thumbs up Assassin II World Champ

I had this shaft (yes I said 'had') in a Mizuno 350 Blue Rage, X-flex 45.75". I hit the ball with a medium trajectory and superior distance with control. I know the golf club head technology is a little dated but the club felt and performed great. The only thing is a friend of mine hit the club and had to have it. Well seeing that $$$ was a motivating factor at the time, I sold him the club.

We played the other day and he said the golf club was the best thing that he had ever hit. This is a guy that has worked in pro-shops on and off for the past 10 years. I was so impressed with the distance he was getting and how strait he was hitting it, I had to try it a couple of times, again. I know for a fact that the shaft is one of the best shafts (under a $100) that I and he have ever hit. Now the real surprising thing is we came up to a dog-leg right and he faded the ball. This guy never fades the ball. I asked him if he had made any changes to his swing and he said no, that the shaft was giving him more control than he ever had in the past. His previous driver was a Titleist 6.5 D with a TT EI-70 X-flex and he hit 10-30 yard hooks all day with it. What a testimonial to the Assassin II.

I would recommend this shaft to anyone looking for distance, control, and feel out of a less expensive high quality shaft.

Anyone else have feedback on this shaft? I have a driver with one in it and it seems to be really good.

I love it!!!!
I stuck the X flex in a GBB II pro series 9.5 degree. I had never used an X-flex before, but all the figures added up. I was right to trust my instinct. This thing is a rocket.
I hadn't even tried the shaft when I put it in. All the details added up for me and I took a chance with it. I do need a bit more loft on the driver, but the spin rates were absolutely perfect when I hit a few on the launch monitor.

I am looking to buy a new driver with a bit more loft so that I get a bit more of an arcing flight rather than the fairly flat ball flight that I have just now, but want to keep the same shaft. Just need to find someone to do the work for me.

I now want to find a similar shaft for my 3 wood. I have currently got an NV in it, but don't really like it. Any suggestions would be great.

Get the Assassin for your driver now. It is the best thing you can do.
