Are most of the swing training devices bogus or do they work? Which ones work? I need to get one that just keeps my swing in tune. My swing can sometimes get a little messed up and its hard for me to go to a pro. So are there anydevices that work? Please post links too!
do a search on medicus and you'll find lots of comments, both pro and con.
i thought about it -- and the swing setter -- and decided against them. i ended up spending money on lessons instead and i'm not sorry.
I'm spending $250 for a series of 6 30 minute weekly lessons. a teacher gives you feedback and can answer questions. I can use any golf club to practice any time.
the thing that struck me from reading the comments people made about the medicus is that you can end up learning how to swing the medicus and not really fix your game.
I get a plenty of lessons I swung the original medicus and coach says it helps. I am conisdering getting one just would like to hear a little more feedback.

I have the dual hinge Medicus and frankly I don't see any real benefit to it for me. My swing is not perfect, never has been and never will be. But it works pretty well most of the time. However, if I swing the Medicus with my swing, it will break the hinge every time. Maybe it is supposed to work with a near perfect swing and for someone trying to achieve that it might be of benefit. I'm just not into trying to change anthing drastically at this point in my life. If your coach says it helps, maybe he should consider buying one to use with his students during sessions. He could probably get a good discount. Best of luck.
