How do I bring my iron ball flight down?
I consistently hit my irons with a high trajectory. I have clubs and shafts which from all accounts are supposed to deliver a mid-low trajectory (Ping s59 with z-z65 shafts). Clearly, it is my technique. There are times when I do want a high trajectory but there are others when I would prefer it to be lower. Any tips on how to bring the trajectory down?

move the ball back in your stance at address, press your hands forward to deloft the club. there's quite a few things you can do. try them at the range first though to find out what you're comfortable with.

Presumably, it's not really the ball's height that's a problem, but the distance you're getting.
In that case, you could be scooping the ball with a short swing trajectory rather than taking a full swing.

I will just add to the great posts already given:
1. Check your grip and make sure it is neutral. If it is in a "Weak position" it will cause the club to go through impact open causing a higher shot that moves right.
2. When practicing on the range stop half way into your backswing and check what your club lookes like, make it look slightly closed. Sometimes people rotate the club open on the back swing which makes it hard to get the club back square. So think of a bit closed as being a square clubface.
Good Luck
