Help! Need help with 2 swing faults

I don't know if these two relate to each other.

I have a chicken wing sometimes and I tend to go into the ball on the downswing to impact, hitting the heel or towards the heel most of the time.

Are these two related at all and can be fixed with one solution/drill or am I going to have to fix one at a time?

Any tips/drills/pointers to get my swing back in shape?

Thanks.

if you chicken wing then your arms have to go out and around your hip which could cause you to either hit it on the heel or swing outside in on the downswing. One way to stop chicken winging is to extend your rear arm more in the backswing which will widen your swing arc
