Swing Thoughts?

Hi everyone,

Recently, all I've been thinking about in my swing is the path/plane of my club/arms and keeping my shoulders square through impact. This has worked wonders for ball striking and direction but I'm losing power. With my usual swing, probably on the slower side, if I try to power at it, I'll take the club outside the plane and cut the ball. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Take dead aim. If you need more distance, grab the next lowest club

It may sound like I'm jokin', but I'm really not. Sacrificing power for direction sounds like a good thing to me, and I think you'll likely find that the longer you stick with your newfound focus, you'll get that distance back - especially if, as you say, your ballstriking is improving.

My suggestion? Stick with it!
