Woo Hoo!

Finally broke 100 today!

I'm pretty happy about that.

I've been really close before (101) but not enough.

I could probably break 90 and shoot in the low 80's if I got my short game together.

Any putting/chipping tips you guys?

It'd be greatly appreciated.

well done for breaking 100,my tee shots have been letting me down recently thankfully my short game good and i play with several golf partners who say so,i got a tip from internet and when course is quiet i go and find a green to practise at with about 20 balls and attempt to nail the pin, short chips are best done with ball to right foot and weight on left foot, this ensures that you hit down on the ball,i sometimes also open my stance and my club with feet close together,my local course is shorter par 68 and short game is vital, recently i have had first nines of 37 and 38 only to crumble on back nine with 50,my current way of putting is if it is never up[ it is never in ] one foot past is better than one foot short to give you chance of putting in one,so my advice is practise the short stuff lots and attempt to pot 100 yards and less and attempt to nail long putts, best of luck look forward to hear you break 90,s

Chipping-

Make sure your weight is about 70% on your left side. Set your wrists forward, and maintain the wrists ahead of the clubhead. Essentially, don't break your wrists down. Bring the club straight back. Keep your lower body still. Just monkey around with those things, see what helps.

Use a less lofted club to chip instead of a sand or PW. 9 iron works for me, others use 7 or 8. feet close together, tempo is key, and remember you're having fun!

Congrats on your milestone and Great Job! Breaking 100 has been a huge goal of mine, but unfortunately I've not made it yet.
