Shorer Swing!!!

my dad always says that my swing to to long with my irons(club is parallel to ground at back), so i tried a 3/4 swing, and all my shots go right cause i cant get a full turn.
So my question? is, is it worth going to a shorter swing(will it help me) or should i go with the full swing(which i hit straight)??

go with the one that works the best for you, unless you start having problems. the shorter swing usually happens by itself as you get older, unfortunately. be careful if you tell your dad that. what a shorter swing does is to help eliminate possible mistakes that can happen more often on a longer swing, usually helps in striking the ball better. many of the pros are going to shorter swings(except mickelson).

Yeah it's really whatever works. If you watch Phil Mickelson when he plays, majority of hit swings he goes to parallel or past excet for his little punch wedge shots.
