left wt iron alternatives

For unknown reason I've lost my feel for my irons and can't hit the sweet spot to save my life (or my game). I can force a faximile of a decent shot by leaning heavily to my left from the start of my swing but while it allows me to hit the ball, it feels like ****. Does anyone have any ideas how else I might get the same effect as leaning left by altering my swing plane , release point, distance to the ball etc. etc? Thank you in advance for your help!

Don't get mechanical with it. Take a normal swing and focus in on a small dimple on the ball. A lot of poor ball strikers don't focus in on the ball the right way. It's the easiest way to correct that.

Weight shift? Big guess as I don't know anything about your swing and I am nowhere near an instructor, but if you hit with weight on your left more easily, then I would think that you need to get right then left in your swing...I vote for a lesson to straighten you out as this is a fairly major (and disheartening) flaw...
