It is a GREAT time to be a Buckeye fan. Your football team has been awesome lately and Thad Matta is bringing in one helluva recruiting class (taking away a few Hoosiers since ******* Mike ... nevermind) in basketball this year and already has some top guys inline for following years. But I will say, I survived the Davie and Willingham years, soon it will be nice to bask in the glory of the Weis days!

Sounds like you have quite an army to attend to with 5 kids ... WOW, congrats. I am thinking 1, maybe 2 kids for me, we'll see. Hope you have time to fit some golf in, take care and good luck.

Buy a demo 6 iron and a glove and go to the range...learn to hit that and then buy a set based on a little more knowledge of how a swing feels...

That's all you really need and follow BillyG's advice by getting a decent book that tells you how to do it!

It won't do any harm either to spend some time at the library going through the books on the game either - there's much more to golf than banging a ball around a course and much more enjoyment to be derived from knowing about it - have fun.
