Need Help On Teeing-off

When I go golfing(which is not very often because I cant drive yet) on some holes I can hit them good and other holes they don't go that far. Can anyone tell me what the proper way of shooting is???

P.S.-If you can respond quickly that would help because Im going to the driving range tomorow. Also, if anyone can find a video that would help alot

Thanks,
Rizzo
