I have watched Chris DiMarco a lot recently and have heard him talk about his "claw" putting grip. Well, this weekend, before a round, I spent a couple of hours on the putting green trying it out. It has REALLY helped me keep my putter on a straighter line! I found it a lot easier to keep the putter head on track and not mishit so many putts. I think he is really on to something here. My strong lower hand has always seemed to cause me a lot of problems, but no more. Have any of you guys tried the DiMarco "claw" grip, and if so, how do you like it?
I've tried it and get get used to it. Doesn't do anything for me. In fact, there are several golfers who use that grip. I forgot who, but about 11 years ago, another touring pro turned Dimarco on to that grip and he(Dimarco) credits the "claw grip" for saving his career.
It's wierd, but the claw grip makes my hands shake. I grip my putter like I do my driver. I played with a guy today who held his putter like a hockey stick. Do whatever feels right.

Yes...Tried it and liked it. I don't use it all the time as my putting is usually relatively solid, but if I start having any trouble with my right hand starting to dominate, I go to the claw right away and it works every time. Still feels weird though.
