Correct Shoulder Elevation With Driver vs. Short Iron? (Pics Included)

Wanted to ask the gurus out there if I should alter my right and left shoulder elevation when hitting a short iron vs. a driver. So for a right handed player...

Driver: Left shoulder high, Right shoulder low. On a watchdial, the "T" created by my spine and shoulder line would tilt pointing to 53 on a watch dial.

Short Iron: Left shoulder only slightly higher, Right shoulder barely lower. On a watchdial, the "T" created by my spine and shoulder line would tilt pointing to 57 on a watch dial.

Do you always keep the same shoulder elevation on each club? I'm confused because the pros in these pictures seem to keep the same position yet Leadbetter talks about keeping the shoulders more level on short irons and more tilted back on drivers. When I started altering my shoulder elevation, it seemed to get rid of a nasty pull-hook I was having. Thanks in advance.

It would be natural for there to be a little less tilt of the shoulders with short irons, because you are playing the ball farther back in your stance.

The pictures are of two different players, which makes for an apples-to-oranges comparison. On the Golfdigest swing sequence page (where I think these pictures came from) you can see setup pictures of Luke Donald with both driver and an iron, and Luke does look slightly less tilted with the iron, although it is hard to tell the difference.

And in addition to this, the clubshaft is tilted back more for the shorter clubs, so that the right hand doesn't have to reach as far, which also contributes to less shoulder tilt for the shorter clubs.
