Think in terms of three things. 1. The ball is too far foward, making your release point come later than the point where it should take place. Move the ball back and open the blade a degree or two.Or, 2. Something, perhaps your body is getting ahead, or too far forward in the swing. Hits some balls with your feet together. 3. One thing for sure, anytime a golf ball's starting direction is left of target, that swing was from outside to in. That's the only way a ball can start straight left. The only way a ball can start out right of the target is from an in to out swing. Get the ball starting right no matter how far right it goes until every shot you are hitting is solid! Then you can move to a draw by making sure your clubface hits the back inside (R) quarter of the ball. That means, to you it will seem like the clubface is open. Many people do not know that the good swing, just before impact the clubface is slightly open but is closing to square. I know, I know, I know all about the square to square, but for most there still should be some left forearm rotation back to the ball. Ben Hogan, stated in one of his books, "If a person hits a golf ball on the inside of the ball, the ball will start right but the ball has to draw or hook." It works for my students. Try it. WEB
