trail foot at right angle ???

Hi all,

Quick question.
Just picked up on something with my right foot position (i'm RH) when I setup.
Whenever I've had a lesson, a pro has never questioned this but my right foot tends to be splayed out slightly from stance.
Should my right foot when pointed at my target line be at a right angle i.e perpendicular ?
The reason I ask is my ball striking can be erratic even though I haven't changed too much in my setup for a while.

Thanks in advance.

Not really. If you lack a little flexablility, it will help out your turn. Just make sure that your feel are still square to the target line.

The pro I've been working with told me to point my toes slightly out, and to have me knees set up pointing right over my toes instead of perfecly straight forward.

right foot out helps with turning if you aren't flexible enough to make a complete turn. Left foot splayed out will help reduce hip turn. Just like above, make sure your feet are parallel to the target line. Most times, erratic ball striking comes more from loss of spine angle than anything else.
