dent in driver lead to hook?

Hi, I recently let my friend use my driver and after a couple of hits he dented it on the heel. I went and play nines holes with it and seemed ok. But today I played nine again and all of my drives are low hooks. I went to the range and tied to work on it but whatever I did it wouldnt go away and my swing is the same as before. I've never hooked the ball before and I dont usually hit low ones like i did today, I either hit em straight or slice. So do you think it could be due to the dent?

Is the dent on the face or under the hosel? If it is under the hosel then no it should not cause this as I have always hit with a straight or slice it and it hasnt affected my shot one bit.

being underneath the hosel wouldn't affect ball flight what so ever, the dent would have to be more in the middle to bother it, then it would more likely go in different directions.

I have to agree with the others here. I believe that the dent is creating more of a mental problem than a physical one in your game.
