hybrid and fairway wood questions...

ok here's what is happening to me. I have a TM r580xd 7fw and a TM rescue mid 4 hybrid. At the range I can hit them both perfectly. On the course however, I can't hit any of them consistantly or successfully. They both tend to go a small distance then turn sharply into the ground. I've never experienced this with an iron or my 5 wood. Im really stuck at what club(s) to use in the 180-220 range(s). What can I do if I cant hit the wood or the hybrid?

It sounds to me like you're not making the same swing when you play as when you practice. Tension is likely the culprit.

yeah I can see that. I usually get on top of the ball. I'm so used to irons I guess I really don't have the mind set to hit that different club right. bah.....who knows.
