Calling all Slicer's!

I think i might of just found the best drill ever to help fix the slice, as everyone knows, slice is caused by a open clubface.
Well i found out that if you split your grip, that it helps keep the clubface closed more making your shots going straight. You can also close ur stance alittle while doing this to have a more inside swing path.

After awhile, you can take that feeling back to your normal grip and hopefully fix your slice.
Now this wont help people that come over the top, but those people should no that they come over the top and should be able to fix that.

Hope this helps some of you and feel free to post any other tips to help some of us slicers.

Sounds like a pretty good drill. I need it! Golf Magazine has an online article posted with several drills and explanations as to the different types of slices. Here's the link:http://www.golfonline.com/golfonline...532097,00.html There is a drill included in there that resembles the one you mentioned. Hope this helps all us slicers!

By the way, glad to see those Adams irons in your avatar!

^^ good drill, i used to have a straight slice caused by holding on to the club, this with my new grip and releasing the club gave me a dead straight long drive that I can count on
