i thinking maybe i need a stiffer shaft... cuz i duNNo how fast my swing is, but non extra stiff shaft might cause unstableness in the driver

i cant really tell since its dark, but to me it looks like your arms arent relaxed and ur pushing them forward a little. Try getting in your posture than just let your hands dangle, then grip the club and try coming slightly! more inside.

You look like u have a nice fluid swing, only thing i would suggest is maybe trying to bring ur hands down a bit on the downswing for more of an inside path, and get a feel like ur swinging out to the right, but when doing this, its also alot harder to bring the clubhead over, but it does work

It's hard to see too much wrong from that angle. but it looks as though your right hand maybe under too much at set up. Try a weaker grip, with your right hand more on top of your left. It'd be good to see a front on view. Pretty nice looking swing though.

First of all, you look disgusted after every swing...try to be positive and learn from each result. (Don't take this advice lightly, we learn from our mistakes but only if we get to the meat of the problem which is often elusive). Notice you move away from the ball every (both) time(s). You move your hands up and away. Perhaps this is because you are wearing a heavyish coat, perhaps not. In any case, my advice is to keep your hands low and tight to your body, don't pull the club across your body, have a positive approach to each shot, put forth your best effort, accept the results, and analyze them, good or bad. You must find solace in the fact that there is a solid physical reason for the result you are getting and if you can fully understand it then you are that much closer to understanding how to avoid/achieve it.

I'm no expert,

You seem like your stance is aiming right while your club is aiming left, perhaps overcompensating from a fear of a former slice? Don't be afraid to aim straight..

Everthing looks fine- your balanced at the finish- and you seem to bring some power. I can't see your grip with the black shirt. The grip may be the problem.- it's sooooooo important, because the grip decides alot.

If it's not he grip, I do see that at the START of the downswing your hands and shaft are too far away from your body- watch it yourself-- look how the downswing "cuts across" your body and not in (loss of power too)- that's a slice or a pull- depending on where the face IS at impact ( there's your grip). Right when you begin your downswing, make sure you bring the club DOWN and IN - right elbow close to your right side - then explode like your hitting a baseball to right field when the shaft of the club is PARALLEL to the ground (NOT before).

You have a nice, balanced, powerful swing- that's good, just bring that club IN- close to your body, and you'll open up some new doors.

Let us know how your doing. LE.

Where did you hear that? There are a number of factors that come into play when choosing a shaft. The torque rating on the shaft would come into play with a higher torque number resulting in a slice or fade with your swing speed and too low a torque resulting in a hook or pull. Too weak a shaft flex would be a shot to the right as the face would be open at impact and too strong would mean the face could be closed or squared at impact.

My advice would be to check your position at address...i.e. where the ball is in your stance and make minor adustments (either forward or back) and see if it brings the ball back the other way. I would also examine the grip...bringing the right hand more toward the top of the grip forces a little higher trajectory and more of a right side ball flight.

The important thing is to continue working on it and make subtle changes before making changes to the equipment...as it will never fix an inherent swing flaw.

you really have a decent swing, i would say check grip first as mentioned before and grip pressure, otherwise you may need to slow it down a touch so that your transition from the top is a little smoother. a drill thats helps me when i start hooking is to try to hit balls to the 150 yard marker (they go farther than that, but it the feel). can't hurt and it works.

i went to a local pro shop.. and yes.. getting a new shaft is a bad idea...

i also notice that my swing comes out when its on the down swing.

i think different weight distribution from my older driver is giving me this problem.

i should go see a pro.... probably the fastest way to fix this problem.

i finally figured it out.
it all starts w/ the fact that my right leg straightens at the top of my swing. and it all starts to fall apart.

if i keep it bent... my drives plays a lil bit of fade.. to almost a straight drive.

it took me... 2 wks at the range... and a messed up iron game.

now ... i gotta fix my irons. all that effort trying to fix my driver... the nasty swing got to my irons and i cant get solid contact.

thanx all for support.
